Wound Care Services

Wound care is a medical specialty that involves cleaning and treating wounds to prevent infection and promote healing. Proper wound care is important for the healing process and reducing the risk of further complications. In some instances, wound care alone may not resolve some wounds, and adding hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be necessary for complete healing.

Wounds are considered non-healing if they don't improve after 30 days. Signs of non-healing wounds include:

• Numbness

• Severe or increasing pain

• Changes in color

• Foul odor

• Swelling

• Fever or other signs of infection
